    Aveleno is a treatment program platform for nurse practitioner-owned medical aesthetic practices running GLP-1 weight loss and Botox programs. It was founded in 2026 by Mike Lowndes and is built and operated out of Parker, Colorado.

    Why Aveleno exists

    The pattern Mike kept seeing: independent NP-owned practices doing real medical work, on real medical timelines, using software built around bulk marketing campaigns.

    A patient on week three of a GLP-1 titration needs check-ins about side effects. A Botox patient at week eleven needs a rebook nudge. Neither of those moments comes from a scheduled email blast. They come from where the patient actually is in their treatment cycle.

    Aveleno was built around that. Treatment programs, not retention. The structure underneath what the practice already does.

    About Mike

    Mike Lowndes, founder of Aveleno

    Mike Lowndes founded Aveleno in 2026 after years in growth marketing for consumer health and tech companies, including senior roles at Teladoc Health and Ibotta.

    At Teladoc, Mike worked inside one of the largest telehealth platforms in the United States, where patient engagement, communication cadence, and structured care programs are core operating systems rather than afterthoughts. That experience shaped his conviction that small independent practices deserve the same kind of structured patient communication layer that the largest healthcare networks already run, without the enterprise price tag, the implementation cost, or the loss of practice voice.

    Mike is based in Parker, Colorado and runs Aveleno as a solo founder. Founding partners get him personally on their onboarding call.

    How Aveleno is different

    Aveleno is not a marketing automation tool, a CRM, or a patient retention platform in the traditional sense. It sits underneath the booking and EMR tools a practice already uses (Boulevard, Mangomint, AestheticsPro, PatientNow, Vagaro) and adds the layer that runs the actual treatment program.

    For GLP-1 patients: titration check-ins, side effect monitoring, weight tracking nudges, refill timing.

    For Botox patients: twelve-week rebooking cadence, post-treatment satisfaction checks, progress photo prompts.

    Every message is triggered by where the patient is in their treatment, not by where they sit on a mailing list.

    How Aveleno is built

    Aveleno operates on HIPAA-conscious infrastructure with signed Business Associate Agreements where applicable. The SMS messaging program is registered under Twilio A2P 10DLC. The platform integrates with the booking and EMR tools practices already run.
