SMS Terms and Conditions

1. About Aveleno's SMS Messaging Program
Aveleno operates a Twilio A2P 10DLC registered messaging program. We send SMS messages on behalf of independent nurse practitioner-owned medical aesthetic practices to their patients as part of structured treatment programs.
By providing your phone number to a practice that uses Aveleno, you may receive SMS messages related to your treatment program, including appointment reminders, treatment milestone check-ins, refill reminders, post-treatment satisfaction checks, and educational program content.
2. How You Opt In
You opt in to SMS messaging in one of these ways:
- By providing your phone number to a clinician's practice and consenting to SMS communication during your intake, visit, or treatment program enrollment.
- By texting "START" or "JOIN" to a practice's Aveleno-managed phone number after being given that number by the practice.
- By replying affirmatively to an opt-in message from your clinician.
Your clinician's practice is responsible for obtaining your consent before any SMS communication begins.
3. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on the treatment program you are enrolled in and your clinician's settings. Most patients receive between 2 and 8 messages per month. Active treatment phases (such as the first 8 weeks of a GLP-1 program) may include more frequent check-ins.
4. Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply. Standard messaging rates from your wireless carrier apply to all messages sent and received. Aveleno does not charge you for messages directly.
5. How to Opt Out
You can opt out of SMS messaging at any time by:
- Replying STOP to any message you receive
- Replying UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT to any message
After you opt out, you will receive one final confirmation message and no further SMS messages will be sent to your phone number.
6. How to Get Help
You can get help at any time by:
- Replying HELP to any message
- Contacting your clinician's practice directly using the phone number or email they provided
- Emailing support@aveleno.com
When you reply HELP, you will receive a response with information about the program and how to contact your clinician.
7. Carriers
We support all major U.S. wireless carriers including Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, Boost, Cricket, Metro by T-Mobile, U.S. Cellular, Virgin Mobile, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
8. Privacy
Your phone number and SMS communication are protected under our Privacy Policy. We do not share phone numbers with third parties for marketing purposes. We use your phone number solely to deliver messages related to your treatment program with your clinician.
9. Changes to These SMS Terms
We may update these SMS Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the SMS program constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
